About Us

Salle Moor Hall Farm is about 12 miles north of Norwich in Norfolk, and produces cereal grains, peas and beans, fresh vegetables, beef, lamb and eggs, using organic methods. We do not have a farm shop but callers are welcome with prior notice.

We began our conversion to organic farming in 1994 with 75 acres and have expanded to 380-acres, all of which are now organic. We have to follow EU law on organic farming practice, as well as the more stringent Soil Association rules, of whom we are members.

The farm is virtually self sufficient, growing its own grains and pulses to feed our cattle, sheep and hens. We employ a full traceability system for all our produce, and we guarantee that it is produced to full organic standards and in as an environmentally friendly way as we can.

We sell lots of our organic foods to local families through our fruit and vegetable box service and provide a home delivery service for meat, as well as to local restaurants. Sometimes we have surplus and this goes into the organic network for other box schemes or to Waitrose.

We are also members of the East Anglian Food Link, which promote local and healthy foods. Our main aim is to produce organic food of the highest quality and to keep the food miles down!
